Dear Diary,

I am not having a very easy time in this election; I really have no chance of winning. My misery is ALL Hamilton's fault! If he weren't alive I might have had a good chance at becoming the president of this great nation. As my competitor, Thomas Jefferson, continues to cast his weak campaign shadow across the people, I am left with no choice but to keep trying to win the spot that is rightfully mine!

Before I continue my ranting I should probably explain why I have such a big problem with he who must not be named, AKA Alexander. Hamilton and I used to work together at a law firm and we just did not agree on anything! We were complete opposites. He was always thinking too much instead of just doing something. I am a very big supporter of doing whatever it takes to get what you want. He on the other hand, is not. Anyway, as my career went on I tried to just avoid him but no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't get away. We would keep getting into situations with each other that made me hate him even more! I had finally thought that he was completely out of my life and yet here he comes to ruin everything for me AGAIN.

Well there you have it, that is the reason why I hate Hamilton. To tell you the truth, I don't really hate Jefferson. What really irks me the most is that Jefferson will take my spot as the President because of one vote.....the vote of my arch nemeses, Alexander Hamilton!

Thank you for listening. I feel much better now that I was able to rid this from my thoughts.

Yours Truly,
